| Description | An old Colonial mansion in Kingston, Massachusetts, built in the early part of the eighteenth century, was the source of this paper. No one knows whether the paper was placed on the walls at this time or a century later when patterns of this kind were again in vogue in England. It is known, however, that the "Kingston" has a universal appeal which has made it a popular paper in the Strahan line for many years. |
