| Description | A closet in the home of Benjamin Creamer was papered with this fine French wallpaper. The home, which is over one hundred years in age, still stands on Essex Street in Salem, Massachusetts. The floral motifs are delicately framed by a scroll border which gives to the paper an interesting panel effect. Strahan reproduced the paper for the famous, old wallpaper firm, H.M. Bixby Company of Salem. |
