DescriptionThis interesting pattern with its curious romantic scenes was taken from a frame house built in Plattsburgh, New York. The builder was Burnet Miller who ventured into this wilderness one hundred and fifty three years ago. It is believed that Miller's son, Colonel Thomas Miller, hung the "Plattsburgh" pattern in 1843 when the home was being rebuilt after a serious fire. A piece of the paper was found decorating a closet and obtained from one of Colonel Miller's grand-daughters.
