TitleOld Lyme
CollectionThomas Strahan (pre-1975)
CategoryHistoric Reproductions
DescriptionThis popular pattern came to us from Congressman Thomas A. Ball, who was an eminent architect in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Found with another Strahan favorite (Clinton, 7894) in a farmhouse in northern Vermont, the "Old Lyme" captures the quaint charm of early New England for country home or city apartment. These designs of small and constant repeat were used in the early eighteenth century. For sidewalls and ceilings of today's home, they are again highly successful.
